Supplemental Figures

Supplemental Figure 1. Attendees’ self-reported confidence in communicating with a variety of audiences (from top to bottom: submitting an article to a popular science outlet, communicating with the general public, communicating with other scientists) from the three years of data from CSC-MI reported in this study (from left to right: 2018, 2019, 2020). The data show an increase in confidence nearly across the board, with statistically significant increases and p-values<0.01 for all plots except communicating with other scientists (bottom row).
